My family made a point to take family trips whenever we could, even if all it encompassed was jumping into our white Aerostar minivan and driving 3 hours to the lake for a long weekend. Not only was it important to my parents that we make memories together, they instilled in each of us the importance of knowing our history, understanding culture, and realizing we weren’t the only people in this great big world.
Maybe that’s where I got this itch to travel, but for as long as I can remember I have always had a desire to explore. That desire has taken me as far away as Thailand and as close as the Wichita Mountains a mere two hours away. Along the way, I have done my best to not only immerse myself in wherever I happened to find myself, but to document it with pictures. That documentation turned into a hobby of attempting to capture in photograph the beauty that surrounded me.
And that brings me here, to this blog, to this latest attempt at keeping all of my favorite moments in one place. I hope this blog inspires you, or at least entertains you a little bit.
