Hey there! I’m Emily Busey-Templeton and I’m an American history educator born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I’ve been teaching for 13 years, and have dabbled in both middle school and high school social studies. I currently teach AP US History, and I love every minute of it!
I am a newlywed, though my husband and I have been together for more than five years now. We have a lovely home near downtown OKC so we can enjoy all the local spots in town! We have three ornery German Shepherds named Axel, Ike, and Jack, and a sweet tabby cat named Tabitha. When we aren’t hanging with the fur babes watching House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, or binging Below Deck, you can find us traveling anywhere that has good food!
This little corner of the world is just a space for me to collect my thoughts and musings on all things history, education, maybe some travel stories, and occasionally, running. I’ve rediscovered my love of writing in recent years and am trying to carve out a little corner of the world for me to share my thoughts. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy!
